You’ll have to forgive the darker brain space I’m in today.
Fresh off a week vacation “Babymoon” in Blue Mountain, Ontario, I’ve had a busy brain since 4am today and finally gave up and started my Sunday around 5:30.
Saying goodbye to my last parent last October, and gearing up to have my first child at 50 years old has me reevaluating certain things.
Two years ago, when I first created this site, I saved a draft page called “The Gallery” and this morning it still had the same three stock images from day 1’s draft.
I may later bring back the gallery, but for now it has been renamed The Menagerie and is going to hold some information about the untamed beasts that are my typical project style, and the question lingered in my head…what about the sick and dead projects?
I’ve created some interesting things that eventually stalled, or simply couldn’t survive in the wild on their own.
These things have tended to become something like hoarded taxidermy experiments that just take up space and resources that would be better off photographed, memorialized, and cannibalized to feed the next generation rather than order duplicate bearings, brains, muscles and other hardware from certain rainforest-sounding online shops that I’ve given too much money to as it is.
So, coming soon to a blog near you, the Obituary Notice Board.
